Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Are my photos and videos sent to a server?

No. Trvlog does not operate any backend server. All your data stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Q. I declined a permission. How do I re-enable it?

Open the iOS Settings → Trvlog and toggle the permission back on.

Q. The app crashes or freezes.

Try the following:

  1. Force quit the app and relaunch.
  2. Update iOS to the latest version.
  3. If it still happens, email us with the screen where the issue occurred and your iOS version.

Q. Video export fails.

Check that you have enough free storage. Projects with many photos may temporarily require several GB.

Q. Can I back up my data?

The current version does not include a built-in backup. We recommend saving completed videos to your Photos library, which can be backed up via iCloud Photos.

Q. How does iCloud sync work?

Photos and videos stored in your Photos library are synced via iCloud Photos according to your Apple iCloud policy. Trvlog itself does not run any cloud sync.
